hey heres where to find santa. anyways, now that im actually doing my blog, ive decided to introduce some roman history as a subject of interpretation. so it all started a very long time ago...

art history. v1.02

ok so uh now im redoing the post about art history because last time i did the actuall post wrong, so without further ado i give you, Venus of Willendorf,
an ancient fertility goddess carved upon Oolitic limestone and tinted with red ochre. it was caried arounf with the roaming peoples who created it due to its small size it was possible to tkae it with you if you where to migrate as the people of that time often did.

next up is the Great Serpent Mound, located in Ohio.
oddly this was not used as a burial grounds as many may have supposed, it is however considered a national landmark and is thenceforth protected by the government of America. it is quite young compared to Venus, as it was possibly erected in about 1070 CE by indigenous cultures.

now for something that was used as a burial grounds, look no further then 2 miles west of Amesbury England and 8 miles north of Salisbury England. the site that you will find is Stonehenge.

the construction of stonehenge uses post and lentil structure, in which to vertical posts would support a third piece which would go atop these two, that piece being of course, the lentil.

so its Sunday afternoon and I'm doing this here blog post about art history. only problem is, i don't know very much about art, and even less about art history. for instance, this here fat lady is actually "Venus of Willendorf", an ancient fertility goddess. oddly enough this is most likely accurate size.

   so this is Stonehenge. (it's in England) and to be honest, nobody really knows who made it or what its original purpose was, we just know its quite old.

but anyways, hopefully i wont be putting up anymore detestable music, but in the event that i do, know that i probablu dont care. so yeah... this is my art history blog... dont care how you found but your here... assuming your reading this but... yeah... idk.
